2000 Acura Integra Type R
The 2000 Acura Integra Type R provides its enthusiasts with the nimble performance capabilities of a hand-crafted racer as it incorporates the NSX-inspired technology. Dick Colliver, executive vice president, Acura division, stated that the Type R represented a pure Integra with the fun and performance factors clicked all the way up, showing that everything became possible when racing engineers tuned a road car for serious driving enthusiasts. Its power is delivered by a 1.8-liter Integra powerplant which was specially tuned to produce an output of 195 HP at 8,000 rpm and 130 lb-ft of torque at 7,300 rpm, thus becoming one of the most powerful four-cylinder powerplants available in America nowadays. ...
