Connaught Motor Co. developed the Type-D GT, a hand-crafted 2+2 sports coupe that offers best in class performance with a superb ride and handling balance. The result is the most versatile sports coupe in the world that can be enjoyed on the racing circuit or taking the children to school. Connaught celebrates the 50th anniversary of the Syracuse victory with the introduction of a high performance Type-D Syracuse Edition. The carmaker will only build only 100 units. The model is powered by a 2.0-liter V10 engine that is capable of delivering 300 BHP. It is capable of delivering 170 mph and apparently it will be available in 2006. This model will be the first car available in the Type-D range. Because the demand is high, a 20% reservation fee would be required to secure your chosen chassis number.
