Hummer decided to offer more features and accessories to create two exclusive limited editions packages for the true enthusiasts. In the list you can find a Pacific Blue SUV and Fusion Orange SUT, both coming at the beginning of 2006. The first one features all standard elements the H2 has, but with a unique Pacific Blue exterior and up-level premium appearance package. The 2007 Fusion Orange features a rear-vision camera system, tail-lamp protection and so on. In addition, this limited edition has a heated windshield wiper system with warm fluid that removes ice, snow and debris. Also it has a rear-seat DVD system with dual headrest-mounted viewing screens with wireless headphones. It will be available in the first quarter of 2006. The Pacific Blue and the Fusion Orange will have a production run of 1.000 units each.

Hummer H3 American Red Cross:There’s nothing humdrum about the new partnership that the American Red Cross, HUMMER and the GM Foundation announced on Wednesday aimed at equipping local communities to be even better prepared to respond to disasters.

Hummer released the O2, a model that combines safety, accessibility and post-consumer reuse. The O2 is an automotive concept that was designed to give back to our environment what it had taken in the first place. Oil changes are replaced by annual algae replacement. The used algae are then recycled as biomass for the production of energy. The flow of CO2 and O2 is regulated by a two-way valve system in the corner of each panel. These intelligent devices control and monitor the amount of CO2 and source nutrition needed for the algae cultivation and optimize oxygen production and distribution. Attached to each wheel there is are four modular and self-contained fuel cells that power the hydraulic motors. A new water-based hydraulic fluid is used. To protect the soil, Active Tread TM tires are used and provide optimum low resistance when driving on the highway.
