Lexus revealed the new IS-F luxury sedan at the 2007 North American International Auto Show. The model is powered by a 5.0-liter V8 engine that is capable of delivering more than 400 horsepower and 350 lb. ft. of torque. Production will begin in 2008. The all-new model is equipped with engine-oil and transmission-fluid coolers for high-speed performance and a cylinder head-scavenging oil pump for high g-force driving.
The power is being sent to the wheels through an eight-speed direct sport-shift transmission, the first one in the world actually. It also uses an advanced Manual mode as well.
In addition to the usual Lexus standards of comfort and convenience, the interior of the IS-F features specially shaped and trimmed seats, which would hold the driver comfortably and securely in place.

Lexus revealed the all-new 2008 LX 570 full-size luxury utility vehicle in New York at the 2007 International Auto Show. The model combines luxury, safety, added power and on-road and off-road capabilities. The model is equipped with the modern technology the clients expect from a Lexus.
For increased safety, the new LX will feature a segment-leading 10 standard airbags including driver airbags and front passenger knee airbags. The LX 570 will also have a number of optional amenities including climate controlled front seats and heated rear seats. The luxury packages offered will include features such as semi-aniline leather interior trim, a cool box in the front center console, decorative private jets and a lot more. The model will be available in dealerships starting 2008.

Lexus decided to introduce the 2008 SC 430 Pebble Beach Edition retractable hardtop convertible to celebrate its collaboration with Pebble Beach Company. The model will be released as a limited edition as the carmaker will only produce 360 vehicles.
Aside from its elegant styling, the Lexus SC 430 hardtop convertible benefits from its ability to hide the roof within the confines of its trunk in 25 seconds and in the same time it has enough room for luggage. The model is powered by a 4.3-liter V8 engine that can deliver 288 horsepower and that features Variable Valve Timing. Lexus has introduced a new version of its GS sport sedan range for 2008 called the GS 460. This model is powered by a 4.6-liter V8 engine that is capable of delivering 342 horsepower and 339 lb. ft. of torque The back wheels receive the power through an eight-speed automatic transmission. This new model has more power and performance, but the same fuel efficiency like the previous model.
The GS 460 provides the performance enhancements and advanced vehicle control of the Lexus Vehicle Dynamics Integrated Management system. It features Electronically Controlled Brakes that help precise and optimize braking.
The 460 model has the Supplemental Restraint System that includes variable-force front airbags for both driver and front passenger. The 2008 GS models provide multiple systems to help enhance driver safety and enhance the overall behind-the-wheel experience. All new Lexus vehicles benefit from a 48-month / 50.000-mile limited warranty.

Lexus decided to refresh its GS 450h model that was first introduced in 2006 as a 2007 model. For 2008, the car features revised front fascias with a new front bumper and lower intake design and a new chrome grille surround. The interior choices include light gray leather trim and dark wood trim.
The model is powered by a 3.5-liter V6 engine and a permanent magnetic electric motor. The hybrid power-train delivers 340 horsepower and can help the GS 450h reach from 0 to 60 mph in 5.2 seconds. It is certified as a Super-Low-Emissions Vehicle. The power is being sent to the rear wheels through a planetary gear-type electronically controlled Continuously Variable Transmission.
All new Lexus vehicles come with a 48 month / 50.000 mile basic limited warranty with roadside assistance for 48 months and unlimited miles.
