The extra dose of performance makes it the most capable off-road Tacoma in the Toyota lineup. The TRD Off-Road Package underlying both T/X editions provides a carefully tuned balance of off-road performance and on-road handling. Ordering for the 2011 Tacoma T/X Pro Package will begin in July and the T/X Package will launch two months later in September.
At the 2010 Chicago Auto Show, Japanese carmaker Toyota revealed the 2011 Avalon, a sophisticated, elegant and comfortable car with a distinctive new exterior. The interior was restyled and it features different practical new technologies. The new Avalon has dynamic and expressive lines and an infusion of comfort, safety and technology advancements that enrich the driving experience. Under the hood it hides a 24-valve, dual-overhead cam 3.5-liter V6 engine capable of developing 268 horsepower. The engine is equipped with the latest dual VVT-I electronic valve-control mechanism that provides a broader power-band, while requiring less fuel and generating fewer emissions. It is mated to a multi-mode 6-speed automatic transmission. The first models will arrive in Toyota dealerships in the spring of 2010.
