Porsche 904 Replica by Beck

Last year at the Pittsburg Vintage Grand Prix, a Porsche 904 was spotted. It represented a replica actually, of the 904 built decades ago, between 1964 and 1965. Back then, its name was the Carrera GTS and the first impression was that the carmaker was trying to turn its attention towards sports car racing again, two years after the retirement from F1. At the time, only 106 units were built to be sure everything is ok with the FIA Group 3 homologation rules, and it was. The standard model was powered by a 2.0-liter engine capable of developing 198 horsepower. The RWD replica developed by Beck hides under the hood a 3.6-liter engine capable of developing 285 horsepower. Because of the increased power, the brakes were also modified to be sure they do not fail and also to improve handling.
