Lotus Esprit by Cam-Shaft

Lotus managed to keep the Esprit on the market for many years now, to be more precise from 1976 to 2004. Back in 1996, the carmaker presented a V8-powered model, the first one for Lotus in fact. Its name was the Esprit V8 and under the hood it was hiding an all-aluminum, twin-turbocharged 3.5-liter V8 engine capable of developing 350 horsepower and 400 Nm of torque. Tuning specialists from Cam-Shaft developed a new package for the model improving both the styling and the performance. A new racing exhaust system, modified Turbos and a new intercooler increased the output to 485 horsepower. Until now, the car was sending the power to the wheels through a 5-speed manual transmission, but with the new package, the wheels receive the power from a 6-speed one. The new output enables the car to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.3 seconds and to reach a new top speed of 305 km/h. the Tuner used a John Players Special-theme wrap for the exterior.
