The new Caterham Superlight was rendered the best possible dynamic package. It contains a lot of track options through being supplied fully road legal. The standard equipment includes competition specification engine, carbon dashboard, a 6-speed transmission and a lot more. It is available in three different guises. The R300, with a 1.8-liter engine capable of developing 165 BHP, the R400 with a 1.8-liter capable of developing 200 BHP and last, but not least, the R500 also powered by a 1.8-liter, but capable of developing 230 BHP. Caterham Superlight review:

By reducing to a minimum whilst packaging of the weight, the new Caterham Superlight was rendered the best possible dynamic package. This was taken from the Caterham Roadsport and enriched with very many options in order to enhance performance.

The standard equipment of the new caterham Superlight includes competition specification engine, carbon dashboard, 6 speed gearbox, Ventilated front discs with four pot calipers, de Dion competition derived rear suspension, adjustable rear anti-roll bar and wide track and bespoke road tyres.
