With the T13 kit the Brabus engine specialists have developed an option for the CL 600 that offers a power increase of 113 hp / 83 kW. The kit consists of special turbochargers, a more efficient intercooling system and low-back-pressure metal catalysts. In addition the engine electronics also are reprogrammed to ensure the optimal interaction of all Brabus performance components. The result: The engine with T13 kit not only delivers excellent performance but also exemplary low emissions that meet current EURO IV limits. The stock speed limit of 155 mph is also eliminated.

With the power increase from normally 517 hp to 630 hp and the jump in peak torque from 613 to 738 lb-ft a Mercedes CL 600 with Brabus T13 tuning reaches a top speed of 203 mph and accelerates in just 4.2 seconds from rest to 60 mph.

Power is transferred to the rear wheels via a modified five-speed automatic transmission. An optional Brabus rear locking differential optimizes traction. All Brabus powertrain components are operated with Aral high-performance lubricants.
