Aston Martin Vanquish S

The 2004 Paris Motor Show hosted the world debut of the fastest production model ever built by Aston Martin, named the Vanquish S. The car model was designed to provide the highest levels of performance together with a number of interior and external style revisions. The elegant muscular body was complemented by subtle changes, such as a more open and rounded grille and an improved high-speed stability by the aerodynamic splitter. Stability and balance are improved by the redesigned boot lid at the rear which features a new high mounted stop lamp. Aluminum was used for the construction of all exterior body panels, while graphic evidence of the painstaking quality and craftsmanship is provided by every carefully detailed feature. The 20% quicker response given by the revised steering geometry enables the driver to be more precise with inputs, particularly on winding roads, also receiving a more accurate feedback from the chassis. Aston Martin's low emissions were further developed, featuring quad-overhead camshaft, 48 valve, 6.0-liter V12 engine which delivers an increased power to 520 bhp and a boosted torque of 577 Nm. The interior design beautifully blends traditional, classic and modern materials which enhance the overall appeal. Dr. Bez stated that the Vanquish S V12 represented a combination of hand craftsmanship and state-of-the-art aerospace technology, being at the same time the flagship model of a confident and growing company that was proud to display its heritage. All in all, the design of the Vanquish is eye-catching with an outstanding capacity of turning heads.
