Edo Competition Porsche 997 GT2 R

The Edo Competition 997 GT2 R has as base the 996 GT2 R. The brakes, the suspension, engine, transmission, aerodynamics, exhaust system, interior and windows were all modified. The look of the Porsche 997 remains the same. The conversion kit was developed by Edo and it contains a lot of new and interesting elements. The model is capable of delivering 542 BHP and can reach a top speed of 200 mph.

The Edo Competition 997 GT2 R is based on the 996 GT2 R, which had already been modified in the areas of brakes, suspension, engine, transmission, aerodynamics, exhaust system, interior, wheels/tires and light-weight windows. The only thing missing to be up-to-date is the look of the current Porsche 997! The conversion kit has been created by Edo to include a new front fascia, front skirt, radiator inlets, brake cooling ducts, widened front fenders, fender liners, mesh inserts, and a carbon fiber front spoiler. Additional exterior changes include a modified fuel door and a litronic headlight kit. The brake system has been upgraded to 15-inch rotors up front and 14-inch rotors in the rear, and the suspension has been changed out for a KW sport suspension with adjustable compression and rebounding damping. Horsepower peaks at 542 bhp, and top speed exceeds 200 mph.
