Ferrari 612 Scaglietti HGTS - Uk Police Car

Ferrari's 60th Anniversary relay starts the UK leg on 18th April, on which occasion Ferrari has taken the opportunity to create a special version of the V12 four-seater 612 Scaglietti liveried in police colours. The first Ferrari car was produced by Enzo Ferrari in 1947. The 612 Scaglietti HGTS liveried in police colours will be driven by police officers who are volunteers from five forces across the UK, at the front of the UK tour on a distance of 1500 miles from Belfast to London. The government backed "Think" campaign concerning road safety, will be promoted by representatives from police forces across the UK who will be visiting the different handover and meeting points. The campaign reminds the drivers about the potential dangers issued by the use of mobile phones while driving. Managing Director of Ferrari GB, Massimo Fedeli, stated that Ferrari was the world's ultimate high performance luxury car and they were very focused on making sure that customers enjoyed all its performance in a responsible and safe manner. He added that the 60th anniversary tour reinforced Ferrari's commitment to responsible driving and promoting road safety. PC Paul Atkin, ACPO Liaison Officer for Roads Policing, also commented that Ferrari had done a serious work with ACPO in order to ensure a responsibly-organised relay and they were very impressed with the approach as the tour gave a perfect platform for the police forces across the UK. The interior of the car is beige with Daytona style seats, personalised stitching and leather details, yellow rev counter, yellow brake callipers and Scuderia Ferrari shields.
