Koenigsegg CCXR Special Edition is a Two-door, two-seater with removable hardtop stowable under the front hood lid.
The visible body is carbonfibre.

Engine Type: Koenigsegg V8 cast aluminium, 4 valves per cylinder, double overhead camshafts. Sequential, multipoint fuel injection. Twin Rotrex centrifugal superchargers with response system 1.5 bar boost pressure.

Lubrication system: Dry sump with oil spray piston cooling, and oil cooler.
Fuel: 98 octane / E85 (biofuel)

Koenigsegg revealed the CCXR Special Edition. The model is a two-door car that features a hardtop. The visible body is made of carbon fiber and it is able of high performance thanks to its carbon fiber rear wing. It features a V8 cast aluminum 4-valves/cylinder engine that is able to deliver 1018 BHP at 7.200 rpm and maximum torque 1060 Nm at 6.100 rpm. It is able of accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in 2.9 seconds and can reach a top speed of more than 400 km/h. The braking distance from 100 km/h is 31 m. The fuel consumption indicates 18 l/100 km on the highway and 22 l/100 km on a combined cycle.
