Cadillac CTS

The 2008 Cadillac CTS is expressive, sophisticated and elegant, despite its dramatic design presence. It is an all-new luxury design which brings new levels of design for Cadillac, aiming to redraw the boundaries of the normally conservative luxury sedan category. It is able to reach the charisma of a sports car although it represents a sedan in the heart of the luxury car market. Its trend-setting design extends the edgy and contemporary character by adding a touch of elegance. On the exterior, the two-inch wider track provides a stronger stance, while the overall shape of the CTS boasts a faster profile with more rake. The interior is defined by luxury and performance, with high quality materials that make the cabin a smart mixture of sophistication, precise tailoring and luxurious character. The hand-assembled center console leads seamlessly into the center stack, providing a sportier "cockpit" feel for the driver and passenger without compromising space. The CTS's agility is reinforced by the more sculpted hood, smoother wheel housing lips and the tighter wheel-to-body relationship. The car's front appearance is unmistakable on the road, due to the chrome dual-textured grille which is both complex and aggressive. Charisma was injected by designers at the rear of the car, where most sedans appear to be quite ordinary, showing vertical taillamps which are a Cadillac trademark, a roofline and rear backlight which feature a coupe-like profile. The multilink rear suspension delivers a superior ride with excellent handling. Joining the existing 2.8L V-6 and 3.6L V-6, the 3.6L direct-injection engine is going to power the 2008 CTS, ensuring much better fuel economy.
