Abarth developed a new model and built it as a limited edition. We are talking about the 500 Abarth Assetto Corse super sport car. The model was designed by Fiat Group Automobiles Style Center and it will be the star of track races from next year. The models all have a full racing outfit. For example, all feature wide track, white 17-inch special ultra-light racing wheels, low ride, and sport racing mirrors and also a place for a number on the sides. In addition to the classic bonnet clips, the bonnet houses two carbon air intakes bearing the Abarth scorpion logo. At the rear it has a white winged spoiler, a badge bearing the Abarth logo and a twin exhaust pipe. Inside, the 500 Abarth Assetto Corse is equipped with a roll-bar type approved for racing that completely hollow to make the car lighter and faster. The anatomical seats, the steering wheel and the carbon door panels make the 500 Abarth Assetto Corse a real sports car with an indomitable character all of its own. Under the hood, the model features a 1.4-liter 16V turbo engine capable of developing 200 BHP and 300 Nm of torque. It features Garrett GT 1446 fixed geometry turbocharger and special reinforced water and air sleeves. All the output is being sent to the wheels through an M32 6-speed transmission. The carmaker equipped the model with electric power steering with racing tuning. To handle the power, the engineers have provided Brembo radial front calipers with four pistons M4X40, perforated, self-ventilating front brake disc, rear caliper with 36 mm piston, rear brake disc with 264mm x 11mm and also high performance racing brake pads. The 17-inch forged aluminum wheels are covered in 205/50 ZR17 tires.
