The Lotus Europa SE provides a terrific mix of performance, agility and style. Under the hood, the model hides a 2-0-liter mid-mounted charged engine tuned in the SE with an all new calibration to deliver 225 PS and 300 Nm of torque. With this output, it provides effortless cruising capability. The new model is capable of accelerating from 0 to 60 mph in 5.5 seconds and to 100 mph in 13.0 seconds. It can reach a top speed of 143 mph. Europa offers increased levels of comfort that surpass the Elise and Exige. These two models are equipped with race car derived double wishbone suspension to give an exceptional driving feel with Lotus DNA. The SE variant has attractive and light weight new wheels, which are shod with wider and high performance tires. To transfer the output to the road, the engineers have provided larger 17-inch rims up front and 18-inch rims on the rear. These house high performance AP Racing four pot brakes and larger diameter discs. For the interior, the designers have used lightweight high-grade leather. In terms of safety, both models come with driver and passenger airbags and an engine start button, offered as standard.
