Maserati MC12 Versione Corse

Maserati developed the MC12 Versione Corse, a model that has as base the Maserati MC12 GT1, the legendary race car which won the FIA GT Champion of the Manufacturer in 2005. It seems that the carmaker will only build 12 units worldwide and will deliver them without street homologation. The engine is capable of generating 755 horsepower and 740 Nm of torque and it uses 19-inch front and rear rims covered in 315 / 30 ZR 19 DUNLOP SP Sport Maxx GT on the front axle and 325 / 35 ZR 19 DUNLOP SP Sport Maxx GT on the rear one. The output enables the car to accelerate from 0 to 200 km/h in 6.4 seconds and to reach a top speed of 330 km/h. To transfer the output to the wheels, the engineers have offered a 6-speed transmission. The necessary changes for street homologation include engine and technical specification, electronically controlled exhaust valve system with pressure accumulator mounted, data log system installed, fuel evaporation system with activated carbon filter installed and a lot more. For the interior, the model features driver and passenger seats adapted seats, door, roof upholstered in Alcantara, storage compartments manufactured, interior lamp mounted and hazard warning lights installed, central locking built in and interior ventilation installed. This is all the information revealed so far on the matter.
