Renault Twingo RS by Renault Sport

The Renault Twingo RS range is very simple, but attractive. Under the hood it hides a 1.6-liter 16V engine capable of developing 133 horsepower and it comes with a choice of two chassis, Sport or Cup. In France, the new model will be available for purchase starting September 11th with a starting price of EUR15.600. It manages to set the standard in terms of comfort and versatility. For example, in France, the model features independent, sliding rear seats as standard. For the most demanding driving enthusiasts, the carmaker offers the Twingo Renault Sport with a Cup chassis. This is actually available with 17-inch Dark Anthracite alloy wheels and, in France, a rear bench seat. Renault Sport graphics can be applied to the front quarter panels, the rear bumper and can even to the key housing. In terms of technology, the model features hands-free Bluetooth telephone controls and an audio connection box which permits drivers to connect an MP3 player or iPod in total safety. The carmaker predicts that half of the potential buyers have less than 30 years of age. To support these customers buying their first hot hatch, Renault Sport is offering every client in several European markets a service that is completely unique in this segment. In terms of safety, the engineers have provided big brakes and instructions for the drivers when it comes to the safe driving techniques. For example they learn the correct position of hands on the steering wheel, driving lines, braking, management of the ABS and ESP, and so on. All this incredible experience is endorsed by Romain Grosjean. He managed to prove that it is very much possible to be young and with an incredible passion for sports cars, but in the same time remain socially responsible on the road, but also on the track.
