BRABUS Ultimate R based on the smart fortwo

Tuning specialists from BRABUS developed a special model, the BRABUS ULTIMATE R that has as base the Smart ForTwo. Under the hood it has a 3-cylinder turbocharged engine capable of developing 112 horsepower. All the output is being transferred to the road through 235/30 R 18 tires on the rear axle. On the outside it features a special gun metal paint job and carbon fiber components. The sport seats are covered in Alcantara and offer firm support for driver and passenger. The new developed model features a smart tuner engine capable of developing 112 horsepower and 150 Nm of torque. The shift times of the gearbox in this special model developed by BRABUS are shorter than in the production car. The gears can be shifted either automatically or using Formula One-type shift paddles found on the BRABUS sport steering wheel with a very ergonomically shape that measures 32 centimeters. The output enables the car to accelerate from 0 to 60 km/h in 3.9 seconds and to reach 100 km/h in only 9.5 seconds. The ULTIMATE R can reach a top speed of 170 km/h. The sport exhaust system optimizes power yield and offers the two-seat model a very sporty exhaust note. The high-tech material can be found on the lower part of the B-pillar, the front spoiler, on the rear diffuser and on the rocker panels. BRABUS developed a height-adjustable coil-over sport suspension that lowers the ride height by 30 mm. Gas-pressure shocks contribute to the agile handling of the car with great safety reserves. On the inside it features beautiful material delicately finished by the BRABUS upholsterers with shining red seams and can also be found on the dashboard and both doors. As part of the standard equipment, the tuner offers a climate control system, radio and navigation system. The model is available as a convertible and as a coupe.
