Chevrolet Caprice (Arabian Market)

Chevrolet developed one of the best large luxury sedans in the world, the new 2009 Chevrolet Caprice. We can say all these thanks to its specifications, performance, driving dynamics and value for money. The model is now equipped with a 6-speed 6L80E automatic transmission to send the output to the wheels. Its variants the SS and Royale also receive the same transmission, but with Active Select improving its launch performance. A direct input speed sensor is also there to improve shift feel and smoothness. The other trims are paired to a 4-speed automatic unit. All models come equipped with a 6.0-liter V8 engine capable of generating 360 horsepower and 530 Nm of torque. For the LS and LTZ models the carmaker provides a 3.6-liter V6 unit capable of producing 240 horsepower and 330 Nm of torque. The SS variants receive several additions, including high-intensity HID headlamps, remote start to cool down the interior and last foot-well illumination. The LTZ, SS and the Royale also got new chrome-plated plastic interior door handles and now all models are available with the attractive new Switchblade Silver paint. The 2009 Chevrolet Caprice comes with a great suspension package, which includes linear-control independent rear suspension technology to improve handling and drive. The model uses 16-inch anti-lock, fade-resistant brakes and wheel-and-tire packages for great dynamics. The tires have been developed to improve handling and longitudinal grip for easy acceleration and short stopping distance. Chevrolet is now one of the best-known and best-selling automotive brands in America and one of the fastest growing brands in the world. Next year, the carmaker plans to introduce the new Chevy Volt, an extended range electric vehicle that will travel up to 40 miles without using any gas at all. Well, everybody, this is all on the matter so far.
