Citroen C4 Restyled

French carmaker Citroen managed to make some changes to the already successful design of the C4. This model actually managed to win the public over right from the beginning. The new changes refer mostly to the front end underlining the energy, strength and elegance of the C4. The carmaker is offering it with two new petrol engines developed in collaboration with the Bavarian carmaker BMW. To be more precise, we are talking about the VTi 120 and THP 150 which are capable of providing on-road pleasure and reduce the level of the fuel consumption and the CO2 emissions. The 2.0-liter HDi diesel engine is the first to comply with the future Euro V standard in this family. Through the use of new technology, like for example low-rolling resistance tires, several versions with the HDi 92 or HDi 110 paired with a manual or EGS6 transmission can limit their emissions to 120 g/km of CO2. The carmaker offered a lot of telematics equipment like a new generation navigation system which comes with a Bluetooth function and can be connected to portable equipment. Citroen has also improved the driving pleasure and safety by providing Xenon dual function directional headlamps, the lane departure warning system, the fixed-centered controls steering wheel and hill start assist. The French manufacturer will present the new Citroen C4 for the first time to the world at the Moscow International Motor Show on August 26th 2008.
