Fiat Qubo Trekking Edition

A new version of the well-known Qubo range will be presented in the UK later this month before its international public debut at the Frankfurt Motor Show that will take place next week. The new Qubo Trekking is tougher than the standard car because of the Traction+ system that uses an electronic differential lock to the front wheels this way improving handling and control in mud, snow and other difficult conditions. This new system has no influence on the fuel economy or maintenance costs and it is designed to attract the ones looking for an affordable off-road car. For the ones curious on how does the system function, here it is. The system works by braking the driven wheel with the lowest grip and transferring more torque to the other wheel. As a result, the car has more grips to handle the slippery conditions. The new model is 20 mm higher than the regular Qubo and it is offered as standard with sturdy features like bumper with engine guard, exclusive wheel trims and so on. The starting price asked by the manufacturer is EUR12.650 OTR. The new Trekking is also equipped with the Blue&Me entertainment and communications system and it attracts a low tax thanks to its CO2 emission level of 115 g/km. The Traction+ system offer even more practicality and versatility, but most importantly, it keeps motoring costs low. The Qubo range has a starting price of EUR9.755 for the 1.4 Active.
