The new Kia Optima was reveled for the first time at the New York International Motor Show. According to the carmaker, the model will go on sale at the beginning of September. The specialists have modified the exterior and the new model is now more aggressive and it has a more dynamical style in comparison with the previous models. Its new engine is capable of better performance and fuel economy. The 2009 Kia Optima grew in size as well and it is now larger than its predecessor. With its new redesign, the model provides consumers with a sporty, fuel-efficient choice. In terms of safety, the model features a lot of elements as standard. To be more precise, we are talking about six airbags, front active headrests, side-impact door beams, and height-adjustable front seatbelts with pre-tensioners and force limiters. The list continues with three-point seatbelts for all seating positions, Lower Anchors and Tethers for Children, but also a Tire Pressure Monitoring System. Just to be sure nothing can happen in one of these cars, know that the engineers have also provided the Electronic Stability Control Package with Electronic Stability Control, a Traction Control System, four-wheel anti-lock brakes and brake assist. Included in this program are a 10-year / 100.000 mile limited power train warranty, a five-year / 60.000 mile limited basic warranty and a five-year / 100.000 mile anti perforation warranty. Part of the comprehensive vehicle coverage we also have a five-year / 60.000 mile roadside assistance plan.
