Maserati Quattroporte Facelift and Sporty Quattroporte S

Maserati managed to sell and deliver 15.000 cars in the last five years and won 46 international awards. Now, specialists present the Quattroporte with a new look and new technical solutions. Both the personality and glamour of the Maserati flagship are now represented by two products: the Quattroporte and the Quattroporte S. The former receives power from a 4.2-liter V8 engine capable of generating 400 horsepower and the latter features a 4.7-liter V8 engine that produces 430 horsepower. In fact this last one was introduced on the GranTurismo S, but with a different specification. To send the output to the wheels, the engineers have fitted a 6-speed automatic transmission which was actually developed in association with ZF. The specialists have offered styling changes to the most recognizable features. Here we have to mention the front, where the new grille, with its vertical slats reminds us of the GranTurismo. Now both the front and rear lights were updated and feature LED lights. If we look from the side, the most visible changes refer to the under-door moulding which has a line that runs into that of the new bumpers. These have a wider protective band and more styling to the rear. Moving on, we can see that the door mirrors are also now and now have a more dynamic shape and a more streamlined mounting to the door. When it comes to the interior, the specialists have provided a new center console and for more convenient operations, the controls are grouped more closely together. In terms of technology, know that the two models receive an updated range of navigation systems, now comprising the new Maserati Multimedia Systems. For the exterior, the carmaker offers two options in terms of paint: Marrone Corniola and Sabbia, which actually replace the beige which was previously in the range. If you are interested in purchasing one of the two models, know that the carmaker offers them for sale in the US starting October.
