Skoda Octavia Greenline

Skoda Auto plans to reduce fuel consumption. Thanks to the Fabia Greenline and Superb Greenline models, the carmaker has already laid the foundation for effective, and most importantly, affordable concepts for more economical and environmentally friendly mobility. The Octavia Greenline, revealed at the Geneva Motor Show, completes the Skoda range of consumption-optimized automobiles and provides a highly efficient alternative to the familiar standard vehicle. All measures lead to outstanding fuel economy and lower emissions. Under the hood it hides a 1.6-liter TDI engine that has 116 g/km CO2 emission level in the combined cycle and a combine consumption of 4.4-liters of diesel per 100 km. It can produce 105 PS and 250 Nm of torque. a standard diesel particulate filter complements the environmentally-friendly specification of the 3rd eco car in the Skoda Auto range, following the Fabia Greenline and Superb Greenline. The changes made to the specifications of the car reduce the weights of the new Octavia Greenline. Aerodynamic improvements on the underbody provide improved flow characteristics. The reduced rolling resistance tires reduce the power the car needs when accelerating and driving at higher speeds and tire pressure has increased by around 15 %. Its practicability remains fully available. Only the consumption has been reduced by 4.5 % in comparison with the standard model. These are all the information available on the matter so far.
