VW Golf GTI V50

German carmaker VW developed the Golf GTI V50 and in the same time improved its performance. If equipped with a Stage 1 ECU tuned to 250 horsepower, the model is capable of accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.6 seconds. To transfer the output to the road, the engineers have offered Pirelli P Zero 18-inch alloy rims covered in 225 / 40 R 18 tires. To handle the extra power, the carmaker offered brake discs and calipers used in the range-topping Golf GTI R32, which round off the dynamic road feel and sensitive handling of the Golf V50. The modifications were performed in Singapore at the VW Center, by their technical experts using genuine and approved parts and technology. All come with a 3-year warranty offered by VW. Under the hood it hides aa4-cylinder petrol engine TFSI capable of generating 246 BHP and 382 Nm of torque. To transfer the output to the road, the engineers have provided a standard 6-speed dual clutch transmission DSG. In terms of interior equipment, the model received air conditioning system with 2-zone temperature control and dust and pollen filter, aluminum and leather gearshift handle, front and rear carpet mats, illuminated vanity mirrors in sun visors, but also automatically dimming interior mirrors and a lot more. On the outside we will see electric tilt sunroof, front and rear bumpers in sport design, body-colored rear spoiler, front fog lights, metallic paint and white side turn signal lights. The list continues with sport suspension which lowers the car by around 15 mm. In terms of safety, the carmaker provides a lot of elements like 3-point seatbelts for all passenger seats, electronic stabilization program, and comfort brake assistant, ABS, ASR and EDL. We have to admit the carmaker did a really good job with the new GTI V50.
