Abt AS8 based on 2011 Audi A8

Tuning specialists from ABT Sportsline developed a new version of the Audi A8, the AS8. At first, the engineers have improved the performance of the potent turbo diesel with a 4.2-liter cubic capacity and more modifications will be available soon. At first the engine was capable of developing 350 horsepower, but now, after the improvement, the model is capable of producing 385 horsepower and the same 800 Nm of torque like the standard. The tuner tried to make the AS8 a perfect choice for a trip, but also for the everyday business life. In terms of visual effects, the tuner offered a sporty touch to the front spoiler, side sills, to the rear aprons and the three-piece rear spoiler that underline the design of the limousine. The new vehicle also runs on 20 and 21-inch alloy wheels. The engineers have not turned the elegant car into a racing one, but carefully into a confident and sporty automobile. Under the hood it hides a 4.2-liter TDI engine with a 4134ccm capacity. In terms of aerodynamics ABT Sportsline offered ABT front wing, ABT side skirts, a three-part ABT rear wing and ABT rear skirt with exhaust covers. Also, the tuner offers wheels with sports tires as option.
