Audi R8 V10 5.2 FSI quattro

The largest Audi Center in London received some help from the new open-air R8. The model had its debut in front of 300 guests. It has as base the 525 PS 5.2-liter FSI model, but it features a bespoke body incorporating additional weight-saving carbon fiber composite panels, the new open-air R8 will be available to order in the UK from November in 6-speed manual and 6-speed R Tronic automated manual forms priced at EUR109.580 and EUR 114.670, respectively. In terms of standard equipment, the model features all-LED headlights and inside an extended leather package featuring Fine Nappa leather and Audi Music Interface iPod connection system. Performance reflects its capabilities of accelerating from 0 to 60 mph in 4.1 seconds and to 124 mph in 12.7 seconds. It can also reach a top speed of 194 mph using a 6-speed manual version. Handling is optimized by Quattro permanent all-wheel drive that distributes power to all four wheels with heavy rear bias, and by Audi magnetic ride, which uses magnetic fields in the shock absorbers to adjust their response to road conditions within milliseconds and adapt to the style of the driver. The distinctive new Center will be operated by the Sytner Group and will be staffed by around 100 people. Within 12 months of the doors officially opening to the public on October 19th, approximately 30.000 customers are expected to have passed through its doors. The Audi brand passed the milestone 100.000 sales mark in the UK in 2007 and 2008. The brand exceeded 1 million deliveries in the world for the first time in 2008. On the road it has extended its reach into important new segments with new models such as the A3 Cabriolet, the Q5, the TT RS and the R8 5.2 FSI Quattro. On the race circuit Audi Sport has contested the Le Mans 24-hour marathon eleven times since 1999 achieving 8 victories.
