BRABUS GL 63 Biturbo

The new Brabus GL 63 Biturbo will have its first official public display at the Dubai International Motor Show. The model combines strength, sportiness and exclusivity in a very harmonious way. Under the hood it hides a Biturbo 6.3-liter V8 engine capable of developing 650 horsepower enabling the car to accelerate reaching a top speed of 300 km/h. as part of the standard equipment is an exclusive interior with leather and Alcantara. The GL 63 Biturbo is built in small-series production and starts at EUR368.000. The twin turbo system is yet another high-tech development, but just typical for Brabus. The engineers have developed special cast exhaust manifolds with integrated turbine housings and bypass valves for the V8 engine. For faster response, the turbochargers were sized relatively small and both manifolds were designed to only use the exhaust gases from three of the four cylinders on each side for driving the turbochargers. The twin-turbo system also includes a generously dimensioned water-to-air intercooler as well as dual intake manifold with Brabus Biturbo logos and sport air filters. The engine is capable of developing 650 horsepower and 850 Nm of torque, so it might be one of the most powerful SUVs in the world. The model is also capable of accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.7 seconds and it can reach an electronically limited top speed of 300 km/h. The tires, suspensions and brakes were all adapted to this enormous performance potential. The aerodynamics was improved also with a roof spoiler and the Brabus rear apron with integrated diffuser. The luxury equipment of the Brabus GL 63 Biturbo also includes a premium interior. Special consoled for the backs of the front seats each have an integrated seven-inch LCD screen, a DVD player and a folding table.
