Soon two 2010 Dodge Challenger models will be available to fans and collectors to commemorate 40 years of Dodge Challenger Performance. This limited edition Dodge Challenger models deliver the best of modern American muscle-car with a characteristic design, world-class handling, powerful HEMI V8 engines and new technology. These highly collectible models feature all-new Pearl White leather performance seats with Furious Fuchsia accents to deliver a customized, yet contemporary look to the heritage-inspired interior. The suggested retail price of the manufacturer for the 2010 Dodge Challenger was established at $35.140 for the R/T Classic in Furious Fuchsia and for the highly-performance SRT8, the price is $45.150. Both editions will be available for order at Dodge dealerships everywhere in the country in March. The model features 20-inch polished-aluminum heritage wheels covered in all-season performance tires, body-color rear spoiler and a functional hood scoop and bright racing style fuel-filled door. In terms of interior, the carmaker was inspired by the original Dodge Challenger and it features dark headliner and slanted shifter console. Also, it has exclusive Pearl White performance seats accented with Dark Slate Gray and Furious Fuchsia French-seamed stitching as a factory-installed option. When mated to the 6-speed manual transmission, the model includes the performance-minded Track Pak with anti-spin 3.92-differential and a performance-tuned dual exhaust with two low-restriction bottle resonators. The Furious Fuchsia R/T Classic is capable of accelerating from 0 to 60 mph in less than six seconds and thanks to the powerful 5.7-liter HEMI V8 engine capable of developing 376 horsepower. The limited production SRT has as base the 2010 Dodge Challenger SRT8 and features several standard equipment upgrades, including all-new Pearl White leather SRT performance seats with Furious Fuchsia accented stripe, retro-inspired chromed quad-exhaust tips and a lot more. The production of the 2010 Dodge Challenger SRT8 and the Furious Fuchsia R/T Classic will start in May 2010.
