Mugen Honda Civic Type R FN2

The 2010 Mugen Honda Civic Type R FN2 is an aftermarket product range available for Honda Civic Type R, boasting visual enhancements. The upgrades of the leading Japanese tuning house cover the braking, the chassis, design and quality. Their aim was that the Mugen FN2 product portfolio provided their enthusiasts with the highest levels of reliabilty and ultimate performance. Thus, the visual enhancements comprise a front aero bumper, an air intake garnish, a front sports grille that combines great looks with a wind resistance reducing design, front aero fenders, aero bonnet, a rear bumper which creates a ditinctive look, and a rear wing, which provides a stunning look for Honda`s hottest hatchback. Mugen was established in 1973, having the goal of racing Honda engined vehicles, enjoying a lot of successes in Japanese Super GT and single seaters. The tuning company was also an F1 engine supplier between 1992 and 2000 and its close commercial relationship with Honda was most visible when the product Mugen RR, which represented a completely redesigned Civic Type R FD2, was launched. Although the number was limited to 300 units, it took only ten minutes to sell all the cars.
