Hyundai EQUUS Stretch Edition (Limousine)

Hyundai launches most luxurious car, the EQUUS. The carmaker already began receiving orders for the long wheel base edition that offers different upgraded features from the normal sedan version, including differentiated exterior design and longer overall length. So that no compromise would be made in terms of performance, safety, comfort and convenience, the carmaker also reinforced the engine and other functions. The Korean customers call it the EQUUS Limousine. Here the comfort of its passengers is top of the list and this is why it offers unparalleled levels of interior volume. To differentiate it from the sedan version, this long features an exclusive horizontal cross-bar radiator grille with an emblem right in the center. The exterior design symbolizes strength and confidence that go perfectly with the elegant image it has. The Limousine is available with two engines. The first one is the Lambda 3.8-liter and then there is the Tau 5.0-liter engine. This second one is actually an upgraded version of the Tau 4.6-liter engine that won the title of 2009 10 Best Engine. It is capable of developing 400 PS and so it outperforms its competitors, by 20 PS in the case of the Lexus LS460L and by 12 PS if we are talking about the Mercedes S500L. To be sure all passengers travel in a very comfortable way, the Hyundai equipped the model with Rear Seat Leg Support, Massage System function and Posture Control. The asking price for the long wheelbase EQUUS starts at $113.000 and goes up to $122.180. This is not all the carmaker can do. In fact, the specialists have developed a bulletproof version of the model and three units have already been donated to the Korean Presidential Residence. Hyundai is actually the first Korean carmaker to develop a bulletproof car using its own technology.
