Japanese carmaker Infiniti developed the new FX Limited Edition, a limited production version of the FX37S and FX50S. It seems that only 100 units will be available across Western Europe and 18 will go to UK. The model sends the power to the road through 21-inch alloy wheels finished in Dark Graphite. Genuine carbon fiber is used extensively on the dashboard, center console and door panels replacing the standard cello flame maple wood veneer. The FX Limited Edition is available for reservation through an Infiniti Center. Its price starts at GBP55.855 for the FX37S equipped with the V6 engine capable of developing 320 PS and at GBP62.035 for the V8 powered model that delivers 390 PS. The new FX combines the sports car proportions with the muscular SUV stance creating an unmistakable performance luxury crossover. The interior was designed will a lot of good taste and it features Graphite leather upholstery complete with quilted stitching for the seats, doors and dashboard. Also unique on the FX Limited Edition are the door entry guards developed by the carmaker. In terms of technology, the model employs the latest Hard Disk Drive technology that features a fully integrated satellite navigation system with 42-country, Europe wide coverage. It also features the Connectivity+ multi-media system that includes a powerful 11-speaker Bose Premium Sound System, a 10GB direct record Music Box that can store up to 300 music albums, a DVD player, Bluetooth hand-free phone connectivity and an USB port for MP3 players. The V8 engine that powers the FX Limited Edition enables the car to accelerate from 0 to 62 mph in 5.8 seconds. Traction in all weather conditions is assured by intelligent controlled, all-wheel drive. All the output is being sent to the wheels through a standard 7-speed automatic transmission with paddle shift.
