MINI Countryman Life Ball Editions introduced in Vienna

The 2010 Life Ball MINI was unveiled on July 17th by designers Diane von Furstenberg, Kenneth Cole and Francisco Costa. The elegant pearl white lent an iridescent touch to the wheel rims, mirror caps and roof of the car. What offers a similar dash of glamour is the gleaming silver MINI Convertible by New York Fashion star, Kenneth Cole, with a surface of brushed metal and some 8.000 studs applied by hand. On the inside, the model features fine-leather seats, piping with Swarovki crystals and embossed logos among other features. The designers have decided to paint the MINI Countryman in matt black paintwork with a reflective logo on each of the front doors. These made the car more mysterious. The model was sold for EUR40.000 and the money will be donated to charity. The other two cars will be auctioned at upcoming amfAR events. This is actually an excellent platform for the MINI brand, while the involvement of the charity allows them to contribute further to the fight against HIV / AIDS. This is the 10th involvement in AIDS charity for MINI. The 18th Life Ball will be held in Vienna on 17th of July 2010 and will once again serve as a hot sport for international celebrities. Global measures to fight HIV / AIDS are a key element of the BMW Group concerning their involvement on behalf of social causes. This year, the event will be held to coincide with the 18th International AIDS Conference in Vienna that starts the day after the event and it will take place against a special backdrop.
