Nissan Juke

The 2010 Nissan Juke brings the small car market to life as it provides a refreshing alternative for those customers who shop in the small car segment of the market. It beautifully embodies sporting style and SUV toughness and thus, injecting much dynamism into the small car market. Colin Dodge, Executive Vice President, commented that they had enjoyed significant growth in a crowded European market, in the previous five years. He added that they achieved that performance by challenging traditional patterns and moving away from the C and D segments. Thus, the sales exceeded half-a-million in Europe in less than three years. The Nissan Juke is going to be manufactured in Europe at Nissan`s factory in Sunderland, England, and in Oppama, Japan. The special effect of the vehicle is emphasized by the chunky wheels, wide tyres, extended ground clearance and a robust stance with a top portion. Nissan`s Senior Vice President for Design and Chief Creative Officer, Shiro Nakamura, stated at the press conference at the launch that their intention was to challenge the conventions and the Juke brought something different for customers, something more emotional, energetic, more masculine. Cornering ability is enhanced by sending increased torque to the outside rear wheel, reducing understeer. The Juke customers will also enjoy climate control, leather upholstery, rear view camera and Intelligent Key. The engineers did great efforts to bring more value to the brand through great design, quality, and driving pleasure. The Juke is meant to reinforce Nissan`s position as a global leader of design innovation, but also as the global pioneer in crossovers.
