Porsche 911 Turbo US

It seems that the 2010 Porsche 911 Turbo will arrive at its US dealers this week and go on sale on January 30. This announcement comes after only three months since the debut of the highly acclaimed Panamera, the first Gran Turismo and sports car for four developed by Porsche. Its acceleration, braking and handling capabilities make it a true super sports car. The new Turbo 911 is really more powerful and more efficient with 20 more horsepower and a 13% increase in fuel economy. The 2010 Porsche 911 Turbo features the first entirely new engine in its 35-year history. The flat-six boxer engine now delivers 500 horsepower, 20 more than the previous power plant and the maximum torque is up by 15 to 516 lb. ft. of torque when equipped with the optional Sport Chrono Package Turbo. The output enables the car to accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in 3.2 seconds and all the power is being transferred to the road through a PDK 7-speed dual clutch transmission. Both the Coupe and the Cabriolet can reach a top speed of 194 mph. its EPA estimates are a best-in-class indicating 17 mpg in the city and 25 mpg on the highway for the new Coupe version equipped with the PDK transmission. Even now, 35 years later, the Turbo is still standard when looking for the perfect combination of supercar performance with everyday drivability. The starting price for the 2010 Turbo Coupe starts at $132.800 and for the Turbo Cabriolet at $143.800.
