Classic Recreations Shelby GT500CR

Classic Recreation specialists have released the first technical information and the package specifications regarding the Shelby GT500CR. It seems that the model will be revealed for the first time at the SEMA Show that will take place in Las Vegas. There will be only three units built and all will feature a hand-built 427 cubic-inch engine, custom paint, hand-stitched upholstery and model specific bodywork. Of course, each will have a serial number, badges and will be included in the official Shelby Worldwide Registry. The ones interested should know that the carmaker is offering it in three models. The first one is the Intro, a car powered by a 545 horsepower fuel injected 427. A 150 horsepower NOS nitrous oxide system provides extra power when needed. All the output is being sent to the wheels through a Tremec five-speed manual transmission and then it sends it to the road through 17x8-inches Shelby 427 wheels. The exterior is available in five colors and features authentic Shelby Performance parts like lights, emblems and also a real Shelby Le Mans racing gas cap. The Venom maintains the authentic Shelby look of the Intro and Performance models, but increases the power to 780 horsepower thanks to an F1-R Intercooled ProCharger supercharged engine. On the inside it features a 200 mph speedometer and racing-style bucket seats. The Venom improves the suspension and chassis, but also the rear wheels measuring 17x11-inches wheels and the wider high performance Goodyear tires. These are all the information available so far, but are not really the final ones, so changes can occur anytime.
