Toyota Tundra 4.7L V8 Platinum Package

Japanese carmaker Toyota presented the 2010 Tundra full-size pickup truck at the 2009 Chicago Auto Show. On display at the event will be an all-new Tundra Platinum Package and the recently announced Tundra Work Truck. The new models will be available in dealerships in April. Under the hood, the engineers have offered a 4.6-liter V8 engine capable of developing 310 horsepower and 327 lb. ft. of torque. The specialists offer as standard the 5.7-liter V8 engine and just like this one, the new 4.6-liter V8 will be mated with a 6-speed automatic transmission. For the ones that expect more from the Tundra, the carmaker offers a new Platinum Package that will be available on 2010 Tundra CrewMax Limited models equipped with the 5.7-liter V8 engine and Flex Fuel power trains. The suggested price was established at EUR5.140. For the interior, the carmaker offered a new Limited grade grille with chrome bumpers, specially made 20-inch alloy wheels and tires, door sill protectors and daytime running lamps. Inside, the package provides an array of luxury and convenience elements. The new work truck will be available on Tundra 4x2 and 4x4 Regular and 4-door Double Cab models in standard and long bed configurations. It will be available with a V6 or one of the V8 engines including the 5.7-liter i-Force V8. The final pricing of the work truck will be announced just before the vehicle goes on sale this spring. All 2010 Tundra models receive a new look with a redesigned front grille and tail lamp design. Additional standard equipment on all Tundra models include driver and front-passenger knee airbags, a redesigned seven-pin towing hitch connector and a lot more. A shelf to help organize storage space has been added to the lower glove-box.
