Audi R8 V8 Le Mans victory Limited Edition

The 2011 Audi R8V8 LeMans Limited Edition presents a number of distinctive design features together with a high level of standard equipment, finding its basis on the hugely successful R8 V8 Coupe. It will be available for orders beginning with July in coupe form, featuring either manual or R tronic automated manual transmission. The standard equipment includes Audi magnetic ride, satellite navigation, the Audi Music Interface (AMI), interior light package, Bang and Olufsen sound system and Bluetooth mobile phone preparation with integrated seat-belt microphones. The new R8V8 Limited Edition is marked by a stunning new titanium-effect paintwork option.
The main differentiating feature of the exterior of the R8 Limited Edition is represented by the titanium finish 19-inch alloy wheels inspired by the R8 GT Coupe, and embellished by red brake callipers. Aiming to provide a maximum visual drama, customers will be given the possibility to specify a striking Titanium Metallic paint finish. The Audi magnetic ride adaptive suspension is also part of standard equipment, bringing a special appearance to the vehicle, adjusting the damping effect with the road-monitoring sensors to suit them by varying a magnetic charge which passes through a fluid-based shock absorber.
In both manual and R tronic automated manual versions of the R8 V8 Limited Edition, the directly injected 4.2-litre engine dispenses with the zero to 62mph sprint in 4.6 seconds. The interior is defined by red accents to the sides of its Black Fine Nappa Leather-upholstered seats and headrests, while the look is completed by nee pads and passenger door handle are also finished in red leather, and the floor mats have a red surround and feature the R8 logo in silver.
