Bentley Continental GTC and GTC Speed 80-11 Editions

Bentley is preparing the new limited editions Continental GTC and GTC Speed 80-11 models which were designed especially for the North American market. The models will be displayed at the 60th Annual Pebble Beach Concours dElegance. The new models combine performance, luxury and craftsmanship, but also the added exclusivity of being commissioned for a single market. Only 80 units will be built and released in 2011. The GTC 80-11 runs on new 20-inch, 14-spoke alloy diamond wheels. On the front fenders both models feature Union Jack bright-ware badges on the front fenders. The two convertibles offer the Dark Grey Metallic soft top and the Mulliner fuel-filler cap as standard. The styling team has created two unique interiors for these exclusive convertibles. The main leather hide choice for both vehicles is Beluga and the contrast stitching, piping and Bentley emblems are white on the GTC and Pillar Box Red on the GTC Speed. In the end, they have obtained a strong, dark main hide color accentuated by the contrasting hand-stitching and piping. Both limited editions have an aluminum dash with a bright finish in the GTC and a sportier dark finish for the GTC Speed. The models will be available in Bentley dealerships in the fall of 2010 as 2011 model year cars. Ever since its launch in 2006, the Continental GTC has enjoyed sales success in over 50 countries around the world. Apparently the customers are attracted to its combination of sleek design, interior craftsmanship, dramatic performance and refined, but agile handling. With its 6.0-liter twin-turbo W12 engine, the GTC can deliver 552 horsepower and 479 lb. ft. of torque. This output enables the car to reach a top speed of 195 mph and to accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in 4.8 seconds.
