BMW 5 Series Sedan US Version

German carmaker BMW has announced the pricing for the new 2011 BMW 535i and 550i sedans. The first one has a starting price of $50.475 and the second one powered by a 4.4-liter Twin Power Turbo V8 engine has a starting price of $60.575. The 535i features a 3.0-liter twin-scroll turbocharged inline engine sends the output to the wheels through a new 8-speed automatic transmission. The BMW Ultimate Service offers 0$ maintenance for the first 4 years or 50.000 miles. The new 2011 BMW 5 Series combines a whole new look, inside and out, with new power-train options and even more cutting-edge technology. When equipped with the Sport Package, the new BMW Sedan includes Adaptive Drive, Electric Damper Control and Active Roll Stabilization. The top of the range, the 550i, arrives with a V8 engine featuring twin turbochargers and High Precision direct injection for maximum output of 400 horsepower. BMW EfficientDynamics technologies are featured in appropriate combinations on each model, including features like Brake Energy Regeneration, Electric Power Steering, a gearshift point indicator, active cooling air flaps and on-demand operation of engine accessory drives. The assistance systems include an all-new Parking Assistant, Top View cameras and also Frontal Collision Warning that applies on the brakes when ordered worth Active Cruise Control plus Stop and Go. The all-new model will have it debut at the New York International Auto Show and will arrive at the US BMW Centers in June 2010. The carmaker also offers different driver assistance features available on the new models, like Blind Stop Warning, Lane Departure Warning, a Head-Up Display and BMW Night Vision with Pedestrian Detection. The carmaker did a very good job with the development of these two all-new models, the 535i and the 550i sedans.
