BRABUS 800 Coupe based on the Mercedes-Benz CL 600

The 2011 BRABUS 800 Coupe based on the Mercedes-Benz CL 600 is considered to be the most powerful and fastest luxury coupe. Its 800 HP, 1,420 Nm of torque, as well as the 350 km/h top speed, stand as a living proof for the car's performance. The international debut of this eye-catching coupe will take place at the 2011 Dubai International Motor Show, boasting impressive features that define its elegant design together with its high-class interior. The BRABUS engine-building shop reengineered the 12-cylinder engine of the CL 600 thoroughly, being equipped with state-of-the-art machine tools. Furthermore, its displacement was increased from 5.5 to 6.3 liters, through the use of a special BRABUS crankshaft featuring larger cylinder bore, longer stroke and larger forged pistons. A high-end turbocharging system created by the BRABUS engine specialists, replaced the standard twin-turbo system. Maximum power is achieved by meeting strict current Euro V emission units, due to the precision-programmed mapping for ignition and injection which successfully coordinate the optimal interaction of the high-performance components. The engine is paired to a five-speed automatic transmission that engineers also improved in order to be able to handle the enormous power. The 62 mph sprint is covered in only 3.9 seconds and after just 10.3 seconds, 200 km/h or 124 mph are reached. Lift on the front axle is reduced by the complex shape of the BRABUS front spoiler that attaches to the production fascia, thus improving directional stability at high speed. An understated rear spoiler on the trunk lid together with a rear fascia insert, achieve a precise aerodynamic balance. The outstanding features of the BRABUS Monoblock wheels are driving dynamics, high-quality and exciting design, and their diamteres measure from 18 to 22 inches. The version IV of the BRABUS high-performance brake system was attached to the powerful coupe in order to keep the stunning performance safely in check at all times. The high-class upgrade of the interior combines white leather and black Alcantara, each with contrasting seams and diamond-pattern topstitching, while an ergonomically shaped sport steering wheel adds to the special atmosphere of the cabin.
