Wittera tried to modify the popular Chevrolet Corvette C5. The result? An impeccable car with an old school aspect through its vertical rear window and its bring scissors doors. Being a rarity in the cars' world, the notchback 2 seats vehicle Chevrolet Corvette C5 has been modified by the luxury German tuning team and has been transformed in an amazing piece of art. Corvette already had a vertical window in its original design made in 1960, but this detail has been replaced with a modern one for C5. Now, Chevrolet Corvette C5 reminds us of its elders, providing modern technology. WITTERA Bring Scissor Doors and Old School Vertical Rear Window to the Chevrolet Corvette C5

Two-seaters in notchback style are absolut rarities in the automotive world. Recently a reputable German luxury car maker dared bringing out a super car like this. Now WITTERA from Ludwigsfelde in Brandenburg, Germany, also comes with an option of this sort. But, it was not about copying a recent car model or following a trend. It is inspired by the iconic Chevrolet Corvette C3 Stingray.

Already in the late 1960's and early 1970's, the iconic American sports car featured a vertical rear window. With the WITTERA hatch this detail comes back on the C5. As with the model's standard hatch, the rear screen and the trunk lid is one unit. Besides any standard model, the part fits WITTERA's spectacular wide body conversion of this model too.

Its aero parts can either be made from glass fibre reinforced plastic or from carbon fibre. It provides enough space to accomodate 9x19 Inch wheels front and 13x20 rear. For the individual touch, there is a wide range of hoods, spoilers and meshes. Even made-to-measure spacers are available at WITTERA. In addition, scissor doors round off the programme now.

The hinges are produced by a noted German supplier and fit both standard C5 models and WITTERA conversions.
