Featuring a floor created from anti-slip multilayer wood with sides in aluminum alloy, the load box is made of high-resistance steel, while long tools can be easily deposited under the compartment from under the floor, at the same time being easily protected from the elements. These features make the car model an ideal one for those customers who work in agriculture, construction, being also great for the transport of frames and glass as it is capable of taking three Euro pallets or 33 boxes of fruit.
Concerning the powertrain, the new Fiat Doblo is powered by a choice of two Euro 5 turbodiesel engines, a 1.6 MultiJet 105 bhp with a consumption of 49.6mpg (combined) and emissions of 150 g/km CO2 and a 1.3 MultiJet 90 bhp with a consumption of 55.4mpg (combined) and emissions of 133 g/km CO2. Both engines comprise the fuel-saving Start&Stop system and diesel particulate filter. The safety specification is completed by front airbags.
