The 2011 Infiniti JX concept represents a luxury crossover planned to join the Infiniti line next spring. The first official photo was launched by Infiniti, while the executives also announced the launch of the "Power of 7", which is an innovative social media campaign meant to initiate conversation about the JX concept ahead of its debut at the 2011 Peeble Beach Concours d'Elegance on August 18.
The exact purpose of the campaign is to distribute seven images exclusively on facebook over a period of seven weeks, giving readers and fans the opportunity to win a trip for two to join Infiniti at the vehicle's reveal at the Pebble Beach Concours.
Ben Poore, vice president of Infiniti Americas, stated that families did not have many luxury vehicle options and the new Infiniti JX would be the seven-passenger solution.
