Jaguar XJ Sport and Speed packs

The 2011 Jaguar XJ Sport and Speed packs are two new performance driven option packs available for flagship XJ saloon, combining elegance, drama and sporting prowess. They provide aerodynamically optimised styling changes to front and rear, a new 20-inch alloy wheel design, red painted brake callipers featuring Jaguar script, optional sports seating for front and rear passengers. The new Speed Pack offers an electronically limited top speed from 155 mph to 170 mph. The two packs, Sport and Speed, are available in standard and long wheelbase variants with a range of engines that includes twin-turbocharged V6 diesel, 3.0-liter V6 petrol and naturally aspirated and supercharged petrol V8s. The Sport Pack integrates exterior and interior design options that enhance the car's special personality. Its functional aerodynamic changes allow supercharged XJ models to be additionally offered with the Speed Pack. These elegantly design changes successfully transform the supercharged XJ models into the fastest saloons the company has ever built. The changes that were made to the interior provide the driver and the passengers with a special feeling of dynamism, style and luxury. The great comfort is ensured by the front seats, which are trimmed in in softgrain leather, creating a perfectly tailored driving position. The basic attributes of a car that is capable of 174 mph are little weight, power, stability and aerodynamics.
