Lamborghini Gallardo LP 570-4 Spyder Performante

The new Lamborghini Gallardo LP 570-4 Spyder Performante sets a new benchmark in the segment as it appears as a more agile and more dynamic sports car, combining sheer sporting excellence and extreme performance. All these result in a unique open-air feeling which takes the driver and its passengers in a journey simialr to the eye of a storm. Its weight was reduced by 65 kilograms, which represents a best accomplished by Lamborghini on the market segment. This was possible thanks to the exterior and interior components made of carbon-fiber.
A work of great precision was made when developing the chassis with its mighty brakes and the new 19-inch wheels with Pirelli P Zero Corsa sports tires are considerably lightweight. Extreme power and precise function build the elegance of the Lamborghini, with its remodeled front bumper, LED daytime running lights and black elements, a design that optimizes the supply of cooling air and improves downforce on the front axle. Its bodyshell is made from aluminum and the engineers selected carbon-fiber for the rear spoiler, sills, diffuser, parts of the underbody paneling and the fine exterior mirror casings. Lightweight Alcantara clads the sports seats as well as the rest of the cockpit and air conditioning and electric windows are available as standard features. As the name implies, the maximum power output in hp is 570 at 8,000 rpm and the peak torque reaches 540 Nm at 6,500 rpm. The engine is wrapped in an aluminum crankcase and incorporates a cylinder angle of 90 degrees and a dry sump lubrification. Breathtaking performance is offered due to the powerful V10 combined with the car model's weight reduction. An e-gear transmission operated via steering wheel paddles features the Gallardo LP 570-4 Spyder Performante shifts through its six gears extremely smoothly and far more quickly than could be achieved by human reflexes. Integrating aluminum double wishbones, the running gear layout derived directly from motorsport and keeps the driver connected to the road in an efficient way. Its interior is mainly described by Alcantara upholstery and a hand-stitched steering wheel, which appears clad in suede accents and an additional carbon-fiber package further adds parking brake handle, door handles, instrument panel trim and center console. All these traits prove Lamborghini's display of leadership in the field of carbon-fiber technology.
