The 2011 Land Rover 5-door Range Rover Evoque is going to make its international debut at the 2010 Los Angeles Auto Show and will transform the premium compact SUV segment, due to its sporting and stylish appearance. It stays true to the main values of the Range Rover brand and offers its customers advanced performance together with premium luxury and craftsmanship. It is committed to the environmental sustainability and is considered to be the lightest, smallest and most fuel-efficient Range Rover ever. The 5-door Range Rover Evoque creates a harmony between the enhanced functionality offered by a 5-Door format and the original cross coupe. Premium qulity materials fill the cabin of the car model, adding further space and versatility, while a comfort sensation is provided by a full-sized glass panoramic roof. The rear seats incorporate seat belt and head restraints for three passengers and are also equipped with ISOFIX child seat mounts. On customers' requirement, the luggage capacity can be extended to 1445 litres.
Optionally, Adaptive Dynamics system adds an impressive combination between a supple, controlled ride and sharper handling responses. Apart from the efficient ground clearance, the car further ensures an improved breakover as well as departure angles when compared to other compact SUVs. Customers are able to choose between two comprehensively updated 2.2-litre turbodiesel derivatives, with 190PS or 150PS. Turbocharging, direct fuel injection and twin variable valve timing are combined by the new new 240PS, 2.0-litre Si4 petrol engine, thus providing fuel efficiency and exceptional driveability.
The driver and the passenger are able to view independent content through a dual-view technology display, while the connectivity options incorporate audio streaming and Bluetooth hands-free mobile phone.
"Pure", "Prestige" and "Dynamic" represent the three design themes of the car model,which integrates numerous other features, such as heated windscreen, front seats and steering wheel, keyless entry system and powered tailgate and park Assist for automated parallel parking.
