Maybach Edition 125!

The 2011 Maybach Edition 125! was displayed at the International Motor Show in Frankfurt, marking the 125th anniversary of the automobile Maybach. The laser-engraved light motif featuring the double-M in a curved triangle in the front armrest, together with the contour lighting, strongly emphasize the exclusive appearance of the car. Other new features include matt black 20-inch wheels integrating high-sheen spokes, a newly styled radiator grille, trim in silver carbon fiber, silver-coloured topstitching, as well as glove compartment lid embodying the signature of Wilhelm Maybach. The modified bonnet has been elevated by the designers and it has also received sharply defined contours, appearing distinctly arrow-shaped. An even broader look is enhanced by the restyled, horizontally structured bumper trim, while daytime driving lights incorporating LED technology and chrome insert have been integrated into the outer air intakes. Harmonising with the striking front, the new exterior mirrors feature optimised aerodynamics, resulting in less driving noise, while the powerful look of the end section is given by the dark red tail lights and chrome used on the handle in the boot lid. The interior shows superb craftsmanship with a refined seat upholstery layout, an extremely high-quality flacon perfume atomiser available on request, wireless internet access during the journey, as well as a newly developed DVD player in the rear. There are three new interior appointments with different leather, carpet and headlining colours with the customers being able to choose from carbon-fibre trim elements with a sporty touch in various different colours, such as silver and red. The consumption figures and the CO2 emissions were reduced by Maybach engineers although the power output was increased by 18 HP for the Maybach 57 S and 62 S.
