The 2011 Mazda BT-50 Freestyle is planned to make its world debut at the Ausralian International Motor Show, which is going to take place in Melbourne on 1-10 July.
The BT-50 Freestyle Cab provides a beautiful combination between a large carrying capacity, an exceptionally wide pillar-less door opening and seating of four.
A 1,408 mm wide-opening is ensured by a rear access panel and a front-hinged door, thus resulting in an easy entry to and exit from either the front or rear seats. The comfort of the rear-seat has reached a level never seen in the Freestyle Cab with lengthened cushions by 50 mm for more stable fitment and better thigh support. The capacious carrying capacity of the all-new BT-50 Freestyle Cab is another advantage, ensuring an overall cargo volume of 1,453 litres, which represents an increase of 266 litres as compared to the equivalent current model.
Doug Dickson, Mazda Australia managing director, stated that the global unveiling was extremely significant and they were happy to have received such a privilege and it was appropriate for the Australian public to see it first as Australia was expected to be the largest market for the All-New BT-50.
